Jansson (Jan) Anglo-Saxon Heptarchy

the British Isles with decorative title cartouche, compass roses, rhum lines and ships, bordered on either side with columns each of 7 cartouches depicting kings of the heptarchy of various dates, engraved map with outline hand-colouring to Scotland and the Scottish Isles, the cartouche and figurative scenes fully coloured, 430 x 535mm., some old dampstaining, mainly affecting lower map area, the sheet lined with japan paper, [Amsterdam], c.1650 or later.
