Signed with fine-line marker across the stamps of USA 4˘ Project Mercury plate number block by one of the first scientist-astronauts chosen by NASA, Duane Edgar Graveline (with 'M.D.' following his signature). He resigned from the program two months later for personal reasons. A scarce Astronaut autograph, even scarcer on a philatelic item. Very fine.
