Handwritten thank you and New Year greeting letter on white 8.5x11" piece of 3-hole notebook paper with reinforcements. From very early in Astronaut Young's career (January 1, 1963) while he was still in astronaut training. Clearly written & signed in black ballpoint pen. Very fine, a scarce early signature.
