Rookwood Vellum, magnolia, Lincoln, 190

Early Vellum glaze with nicely rendered magnolia bloom and bud, the work of Elizabeth Lincoln in 1906. Marks include the Rookwood logo, date, shape number 942 D, impressed and incised V's, and incised initials of the artist. Height 5 5/8 inches. Fine, tight crazing with moderate peppering, primarily below the rim.
