High glaze vase from 1943 with the stylized silhouettes of four purple storks standing among cattails, the work of E.T. Hurley. Marks include the Rookwood logo, date, shape number 6858 and the incised initials of the artist. Height 7 1/8 inches. Fine overall crazing.
