4 1/2"h.,Yellow green, bottle glass, copper wheel engraved around rim with interwoven continuous diamond and pointed oval pattern, applied stem, applied heavy circular foot, pontil scar; Probably made in Manheim ,Pa, at the glass house of Henry William Stiegel , c. 1763-1774, possibly European, mint condition; see American Glass by Van Tassel, pg. 17, no.7, a pair of free-blown conical wines with the identical motif presently in the Metropolitan Museum.This type yellow green bottle glass is found in great quantity at the Stiegel site, some of it is infused with lead ; 2 pieces.
