Bamberg Magic and Novelty Co. Two ALS, on Bamberg Magic Co. Letterheads. One in full color, the other printed in blue ink. The former dated March 25, 1910 and addressed to the author of a new book, signed by Theo Bamberg and Joe Klein; the latter to Clyde Powers, in Klein's hand. Light wear, otherwise good condition. Bamberg founded his magic and novelty business in an attempt to leave the arduous life of touring in vaudeville — as Okito — behind. His plan failed, and after only a short while, he again took to the boards as a member of the Thurston show. Joe Klein, his partner, operated the business unsuccessful for only a short time after the two parted ways.
