Bucks Co., Pa. Chippendale Inlaid Cherry Tall Case Clock signed under brass bell in vintage ink "Jacob Salladay 1813", (Jacob Solliday, Bedminster, Bucks Co., Pa.), broken arch pediment with turned finials with inlaid starburst rosettes, hood with banded inlay throughout, turned column supports with oval side lights, pendulum door having a relief carved shell pediment with central vase of flowers inlay and reeded quarter columns, base having a central double tulip and leaf inlay with fan corners, molded base, ogee bracket feet with spurs and reeded quarter columns. Unsigned original illuminated dial with calendar and second dials, (missing sweep second hand, 30 hr. movement plinths and finials replaced and minor restorations), 99" tall.
