A custom-designed black lame jacket with hook and eye front closures completely covered in black Swarovski loch rosen crystals. The jacket is accented with gold seed bead striping on chest, cuffs, and rope at left shoulder and on the removable epaulets. The jacket also features a fabric-over-leather removable sash, covered in beads, and a "Bill Whitten" label. The jacket was worn by Michael Jackson for the November 10, 1984 "Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star Dedication" Ceremony where Jackson received his star at 6927 Hollywood Boulevard. Jackson wore the jacket at other public appearances throughout the 1980s. An original color print of the above photo is included with this lot. On public display at the Los Angeles Grammy Museum until April 12, 2009.
