36. George C. Scott as General George Patton from Patton. (TCF, 1970) This incredibly detailed George C. Scott figure was designed by Logan Fleming and constructed of wax poured over a tinfoil sculpture. The face was then painted in oil and shaded with pencil. Standing at 6 ft. tall, the body is fiberglass with poseable wooden arms. The U.S. Army uniform is a replica of the one Scott wore in Patton, which won seven Academy Awards in 1971, including the Oscar for Best Film. Scott won the Best Actor Oscar, but he refused to accept it because he did not feel himself to be in any competition with other actors. The medals on the figure's jacket are reproductions of authentic World War II officer decorations, and in some cases were made from original molds used in the film. The crop the figure is holding exhibits a little distress. Very good condition. $3,000 - $5,000
