Scarce "H.L. Leonard - Pat. Jun. 12. 1877" Marked First Version Bi-Metal Trout Reel. With a diameter of 2 3/8" and a 1" side spool, this reel features nickel silver side plates and a bronze frame. This first model with "Pat. Jun.12.1877" markings has a full length cast bronze foot and hard rubber grasp on the half handle. With interesting click rivet showing on the tail plate, an excellent condition example.
