Pettengill Side Mount Reel and Horton Rod

Pettengill Side Mount Trout Reel and Horton Steel Rod. A No.2 size reel with nickel plated finish, checkered spool and "Pat. P'dg - 2" marked foot. Loaded with old cotton line and with a strong constant click, in very good uncleaned condition. The rod, with four sections including the hard rubber handle section, has joined ring guides and three ring tip-top. The two mids and tip section are all 24" in length with a 13 3/4" long handle, and is marked with two patent dates from 1887 and 1889, all in very good minus condition. A great combo for display.
