"William Mills & Son - New York" Marked Trout Reel. This 3 1/2" diameter, 15/16" wide spool reel features an ivorine grasp and telephone style spool latch. The spool arbor consists of seven brass pins, with the brass foot attaching via two screws to the foot pillars. Likely a trade reel made for Wm. Mills by Dingley, unmarked with the maker's name, and stamped with "D-36" inside the frame. Set up for right hand wind, this constant check reel is in very good plus condition.
