Very Rare $7 Corporation of Alexandria

Alexandria, VA, The Corporation of Alexandria, $6, Proprietary Proof on Card, Superb Gem.
Haxby VA-Not listed. PPRF-R7/8. A wonderful plate design by Bald, Cousland & Co. A great denomination item and very distinctive. The third note from this series that was payable in Virginia Bank Notes. Indian family in canoe, sower at work left and female at the right. Stamped in black “Property of the American Bank Note Company" on the back of the card. Blue ink plate locator at the bottom of the wide margin. A gorgeous $7 proof.
