Each chair marked "Hitchcock & Alford, Hitchcocksville, Conn. warranted". With turned crest above back splat stencil decorated in gold with grape clusters and leaves against a painted rosewood ground. With rush seats on turned tapering lets. Six side chairs and One (1) arm chair. Condition: Rush seats in good condition and appear to be replaced. Some over painting on gold and some over painting on wood graining. One with a split and chipped side rail that borders the rush seat.
