Frank Newbould (1887 - 1950) Art Deco style advertisement poster: "Daily Mail Ideal Home Exhibition, Olympia - April 5 to 30", ca. 1935,Mounted on linen. A graduate of Bradford College of Art, he designed many travel posters for railways throughout Britain and Europe. His designed have been credited with turning an illustration into a bigger symbol. Here, the proud birdhouse owners help advertise a local home improvement show, circa 1930's.
Dimensions: 39-1/2" x 25"
Condition: Creases in margins and horizontal folds, overall very good.
