Ike Turners red Gibson T 335, upon which, in November 2002, he lovingly wrote out in gold ink, all the lyrics to "Rocket 88", the first alleged rock and roll hit. The guitar is accompanied by copies of photographs showing Ike writing the lyrics on the guitar and posing with it. On March 16th Ike was inducted into the Blues hall of Fame with special merit for writing Rocket 88 as the first rock n Roll record. A museum quality piece directly from Ike's immediate circle. The guitar was given to Ike 's wife Ann Thomas Turner, a former Ikette who later married Ike, and they subsequently divorced. Almost an entire chapter is devoted to her in Tina Turner's book, "I Tina", (co-authored by Kurt Loder); and in Ike's book, "Taking Back My Name", he mentions Ann as being the love of his life, and he included a picture of Ann in his book as well.
