Early shelf clock with original stencil decoration and in very good overall condition, with the thirty hour wooden geared clockworks, original stencil decoration, reverse painted tablet and carved paw feet. The label identifies the maker as Putman Bailey (American, S. Goshen, Ct ca 1830).
