Civil War era collar box with carved cannons, anchor, and banners on the lid, interior with a small ink bottle and cresent tin tray. A note in the box states this box and contents belonged to Captain Harrison B. Literal, Kentucky Volunteers, Army of the Cumberland. Overall excellent condition. 3 1/4" Height x4 3/4" Width x 4 3/4" Depth. Third quarter of 19th century.
