Pflueger Portage Electric Minnow in Rare Box

E.A. Pflueger's Portage Electric Wood Minnow. Finished in green back, red sides, and yellow belly, with red hand painted gill marks, neverfail hardware with red celluloid washers, glass eyes (1 hairline), and R & L, Diamond P marked props. Condition is at least Ex (rusty hooks), and includes the extremely rare 2 piece cardboard picture box, showing the October 24, 1911 patented hardware, 5 hook minnow with Diamond P logo, and the instructions explaining how the "Hook Detachable Device" works. Box exhibits some minor wear and light staining and includes the original tissue wrapping. There are very few known examples of this rare box, dating to a period in time when Ernest Pflueger was separated from the Enterprise Manufacturing Co. of Akron, OH.
