907. SPORTS GIANTS Two contemporary all-time great champions in their field of sports. BABE RUTH is one of the first of the baseball immortals. In heavyweight boxing, JACK DEMPSEY (1895-1983) remains one of the all-time greatest Hall of Fame champions setting record breaking financial and attendance records. Individually signed cards, 2¼"x1" and 3¼"x2¼" respectively, both penned in dark ink. Matted beneath oversize photograph, 10¾"x13", annotated April 19, 1933, in which Dempsey presents a king-size bat to Ruth at a game between the Yankees and Red Sox. Attractively contained within embossed wood frame. A great association of sports heroes. Est: $1200-2400
