Description Circa 1760. Scrolled crest above a double-chair splat back with gothic-type splats supported by fluted and straight molded legs. The legs at the foot surmounted by turned finials. Refinished. Minor evidence of fire damage. Provenance: Matthews and Shank, Shepherdstown, WV; Elizabeth Sharpe, Conshohocken, PA. Possible splat restoration. Size 40 - 7/8" x 72".
