Description Marked "Elite L. France" under base. Beautiful detail and color. This was the personal shaving mug for Charles Hitte, who fought as a welterweight and middle weight in the early 1900s before being stabbed to death in New York on January 19th, 1905 at the age of 40. Provenance: Featured in The Ring, the world's foremost boxing and wrestling magazine, in the 1960s. Condition (Excellent). Size 4" T.
