1770 Pennsylvania Land Grant Signed by John Penn

JOHN PENN & (RICHARD PENN), William Penn's Sons.
Land Patent signed "John Penn," May 1, 1770, About Fine. Framed next to a deed for "land called Strasburgh" in Pennsylvania by Thomas and Richard Penn. The deed has Thomas Penn and Richard Penn at the top, but the signatures are not visible. Both pages measure 11" x 7.75" , and have some soiling, edge splits, and tape stains. Framed under glass to an overall size of 13" x 19". The patent still carries its original seal and Penn's signature remains crisp and clear. (2 documents framed)
