The P3 Alfa Romeo sculpture offered here is patterned after the fantastic and dominant single-seat, eight-cylinder Alfas of the early 1930s. Cast in bronze by a well-known Italian art foundry, it remains unpainted in pure, resplendent bronze. Its greatest attribute, however, is its legendary pilot—the great Tazio Nuvolari. Nuvolari remains one of the most respected, most accomplished and fearless drivers in all of racing history. His feats behind the wheel of the P3 Alfa are legends in their own right

This full-size sculpture represents an unusual opportunity to acquire an evocative object of art and speed. The sculptor, Francois Chevalier, came by his appreciation of kinetic automotive objects the hard way—by racing. His history includes twice driving at the 24 hours of Le Mans where he was once a winner of the prestigious Luigi Chinetti Trophy.

This particular bronze is numbered eight of 12. The bronze is also imprinted by the artist with a small plate on the left-hand side of the chassis. It would be appropriate as décor for an office, museum or business establishment, or simply as a reminder of the great Tazio Nuvolari and the mighty Alfa Romeo Tipo B P3.

La scultura dell'Alfa Romeo P3 offerta trae ispirazione dalla fantastica e imbattibile monoposto Alfa Romeo, con motore 8 cilindri, dei primi anni Trenta. Fusa da una nota fonderia italiana, è stata lasciata senza colori, nel suo bronzo puro e risplendente. E' anche un omaggio ad uno dei grandi piloti che l'hanno guidata, il leggendario Tazio Nuvolari, ancora oggi uno dei più apprezzati, abili e spericolati piloti della storia delle corse. Le sue imprese al volante dell'Alfa P3 sono entrate nella leggenda. Questa scultura a grandezza naturale rappresenta la rara opportunità di acquistare un oggetto che evoca arte e velocità. Lo scultore Francois Chevalier mutuò la passione per le vetture in movimento dalla sua passione per le corse. Infatti partecipò due volte alla 24 Ore di Le Mans dove vinse, una volta, il prestigioso Trofeo Luigi Chinetti. Questo offerto è l'ottavo esemplare su dodici costruiti. La scultura è firmata dall'artista su una piccola placca sul lato sinistro del telaio. Può essere utilizzata come complemento di arredamento in un ufficio, un museo o una fabbrica, o anche semplicemente come ricordo del grande Tazio Nuvolari e della sua possente Alfa Romeo Tipo B P3.
