DESCRIPTION: Ice cream dipper by George C. White, Irvington, New Jersey. All metal construction with round bowl with scraper. Thumbpiece is depressed to move the scraper thereby ejecting a pointed mechanism from the top. Marked to side of bowl "White Rapid Pat'd 2-19-29 No 1703023". PROVENANCE: Property from the collection of Charles D. Morris, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, a collector of ice cream memorabilia for over fifty years. MEASUREMENTS: 11". CONDITION: No defects noted.
