DESCRIPTION: A mid-19th century Album of the Heart containing numerous pages of autographs and personal inscriptions, including verse, to Sallie Rowland Baker as well as small engravings with tissue overlays. Dated between 1858 and 1860, mostly in Frankstown, Maryland as well as Hagerstown, Bakerstown and others. Embossed and gilt leather boards. Also includes a cabinet card of Miss Baker. MEASUREMENTS: 7" x 8-3/8". CONDITION: Some wear to boards. Some inscriptions with light fading. Some pages with light toning and scattered spotting.
