Imperial Kerman Palace Size Rug C 1950's

DESCRIPTION: An Imperial Kerman palace size rug. Blue and ivory center medallion on a rose ground with rose, blue and ivory border. Signed in small cartouche at edge. PROVENANCE: According to the consignor the rug was originally purchased in the 1950's by the George B. Zaloon Company for a family who resided in a Baltimore mansion. The consignor purchased the rug in 1992 from Alex Cooper, Towson, Maryland. MEASUREMENTS: 22'2" x 12'3". CONDITION: No defects noted.
