AN ITALIAN RENAISSANCE CARVED WALNUT AND VARIOUS WOODS INLAID CASSONE, the hinged rectangular paneled top centering a circular fleur-de-lis marquetry medallion opening to a simple interior with a large open raised compartment adjoining a shelf of five enclosed compartments, within later front arched panels depicting perspective views of courtyard scenes alternating baluster column and sphere inlaid panels on a molded plinth raised on bun feet.
