Joseph L.H.Bellange (1800-1866) French, portrait of a sentry standing guard, signed LL, 7.25"H x 4"W. Bellange was known for his military portraits especially those from the Napoleonic campaigns and was awarded a second class medal at the Salon of 1824. Good condition.
