cherry with yellow pine secondary, three dovetailed drawers, two paneled doors with line and bold bellflower inlay, barberpole inlaid skirt and cuffs, tapered legs, Athens area, circa 1800, 42-1/4 x 61-1/2 x 18-1/2 in. Brasses replaced, original iron locks, patch to one drawer facing and one to top, minor fading and stains to surface, other normal cracks, scattered pest damage to rear leg, scattered losses and restorations to inlay, normal separations and wear.
