Spectacular Rookwood Decorated Porcelain vase with a garden of brilliantly colored flowers painted in 1925 by Kataro Shirayamadani. Flowers include columbine, phlox, zinnias and daisies all nicely detailed. The interior is lined in Shirayamadani's signature maroon glaze and also used in the columbine and zinnia petals. Marked with the company logo and date, shape number 2368 and the incised cypher of the artist. Height 16 3/8 inches. Light crazing with great composition and color.
