Rookwood 14 3/4" Iris Glaze, ARV, roses

Large Iris Glaze vase, decorated in 1902 by Albert Valentien with pink rose blooms encircling the vessel. Impressed with the Rookwood symbol, the date and shape 905 B and incised with the artist's full signature. A retail sticker from Davis Collamore & Co., a Rookwood outlet in New York and Chicago is also present. There is overall crazing and a stray color spot. The decoration is very nicely done and the colors are very appealing.
