double-hemisphere world wall map, general title cartouche upper centre, separate title banderoles above each hemisphere, celestial hemispheres and armillary sphere below, decorative border 17 panels of the Creation story, Noah's Ark, the Tower of Babel, and the origins of the Arts, Architecture, and Agriculture, engraved map by Chambon, with full hand-colouring, on eight sheets (the map in two, the border in six), joined, 1180 x 1475mm. overall, a few minor repaired tears towards sheet edges, otherwise in good condition, Paris, Ches les Sieurs Longchamps et Janvier, Rue St. Jacques et L'Enseigne de la Place des Victoires, 1754.
