18TH CENTURY GEORGIAN MAHOGANY BAROMETER. Height: 40"

Structurally sound. Noticeable evidence of restoration throughout. Downward warping to wood plinth situated below weather register. Gapping and movement between pieces of outer curved molding. Brass horizontal bracket supporting glass tube is not original. Various hairlines, small cracks, and slight veneer buckling throughout. Lower bell-form consists of two pieces which have been reinforced with modern hardware and opens to bottom of glass tube. Does include mercury. *Est.
