French, mid-19th c., porcelain dial signed "RAINGO FRES A PARIS," unmarked time and strike brass movement set within a gilt bronze urn on a matching acanthus footed base, both elements heavily festooned with garlands, two natural bronze neo-classical females flank the urn. 27" x 28" x 7.5" For a related example see Christie's Sale 8445 Lot 428 Dial has chipping at keyholes, a few small hairlines and light soiling; missing glass panel on back.
