Two unframed dry point etchings, both signed and titled. The first, "Well I'll be," depicts a puppy with chicken hatching and the other titled "The Thinker," depicts a small boy with a dog. Both measure 13" high by 9 1/2" wide. Condition good no tears, rips or foxing. See images. John Knowles Hare: American, NY(1884-1947) Known for his drypoint etching portraits and his magazine cover illustrations, John Knowles Hare was born in Montclair, New Jersey.
