Grey wool with black velvet trim Civil War era jacket made for Clark Gable in his role as Hamish Bond in "Band of Angels" (Warner Bros., 1957). Western Costume Co. label reads, "No. 2577-2/ Name Clark Gable/ Chest 42." The costumer for this film was Academy Award-winner Marjorie Best. Sadly, this jacket is not seen in the final cut of the film.
