Description
Elvis red tour jacket, circa 1972, patch on left breast reads, "Elvis on Tour," "TCB" patch on upper left arm, "Dr. Nick" handwritten on label, presumed to be written by Elvis. Accompanied by Dr. Nick's picture ID from the tour, reads "Elvis Presley Concert" with "TCB" logo. Housed in a shadow box. These jackets were used to identify the Elvis crew so they could be easily seen and to separate them from fans trying to get backstage. Prior to using the jackets, the crew used name tags which fans easily duplicated. A letter of authenticity and a copy of "Dr. Nick's™ Memories of Elvis" DVD accompanies this lot. In it, Dr. Nick discusses this item and the other items owned by him in this sale.
