Lancaster County, Pennsylvania painted Compass Artist box, early 19th c., with red and white stylized floral decoration on a blue ground, 11'' h., 12 3/4'' w. This outstanding example remains in an excellent state of preservation.
Condition reportOld varnish has greened the surface. Original hasp and hinges. Overall excellent condition.
