Massachusetts Chippendale walnut serpentine front chest of drawers, ca. 1780, the top with inlaid edge, above a case with four serpentine and graduated long drawers fitted with antique hardware, above a molded base, centering a fan carved pendant, continuing to angular short cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet, 34'' h., 36'' w.
Condition reportMajority of brasses appear to be original. Underside of top drawer inscribed Danl E P____ & Lydia _____. Splines added to age cracks in side of case. Repaired break to front right leg. White pine secondaries.
