CHINA-EMPIRE 1910 Pattern 1 Fen Brass Coin, Woodward 290 (Dies T/12). Double Struck Trial Strike of this Pattern Coinage. The dies for this piece were made at the Austrian (Vienna) Mint, but the denomination was altered in China from 1 Fen to 10 Cash for the circulation coin. This trial strike was probably made in China, using insufficient pressure to strike up the design properly. Very Fine.
