Each part with woodcut printer's device to title and final leaf. 19th-century full marbled calf, gilt spine and turn-ins, all edges gilt. Condition: light foxing, minor fading mainly to margins; lacking front cover, some areas chipped, worn. Provenance: unidentified painted heraldic shield to front free endpaper; Bibliothèque du Docteur Valoy (bookplate); ms. annotations on front free endpaper. [With:] LIVIUS, Titus (59 B.C.-17 A.D). Historiae Romanae principis decades tres. Paris: Oudin Petit, September 1552. 3 parts in one volume, 8vo (335 x 218 mm). Later speckled calf, gilt stamped to front cover, gilt title to spine, all edges gilt. Condition: joints cracked exposing cords, some small gouges, covers rubbed, corners bumped.
