Two-handled ovoid tureen with lid and tray decorated with applied gilding, and floral motifs in yellow, green, and brown glaze, ceramic, manufactured by Brownfield & Sons, England, ca. 1876-1891; printed mark and serial number on the bottom. An example of Brownfield & Sons's "Seringa" pattern. Dimensions: Tureen 4-5/8"H x 15-1/4"W x 9-1/4"D; tray 1"H x 15-3/4"W x 10-5/8"D; lid 3"H x 12"W x 8-1/2"D

Overall very good; some dust and soiling; on tray, some cracking to underside, with wear and remnants of old felt padding.
