Thompson/World's Fair 1893", "Henry A. Gardner Est." and "WAW" (possibly for William Aiken Walker, Charleston, South Carolina, 1838-1921), oil on canvas board, 6-1/2 x 4-7/8 in.; original matching gilt wood and composition late 19th century frames with "Anderson Art…Chicago" labels verso. Canvas board with uneven edges, retouch in both around area of noses and one spot above man's head; frames with resurfaced areas, abrasions, losses to composition.
