Allison Smith (American, b. 1972) has produced over twenty-five solo exhibitions, installations, performances, and artist-led participatory projects for venues such as the Mattress Factory Museum, Pittsburgh, PA (2008); San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco, CA; Public Art Fund, Governors Island, New York Harbor, NY; The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Ridgefield, CT; The Arts Club of Chicago; and S!GNAL Center for Contemporary Art, Malmö, Sweden, among many others. She has exhibited her work in group exhibitions at galleries and museums including P.S.I/MoMA, New York; Palais de Tokyo, Japan; the Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts, San Francisco, CA: Mass MoCA, North Adams, MA; and The Tang Museum, Saratoga Springs, NY.
