Staffordshire Enameled White Saltglazed Stoneware Landscape Teapot and Cover, England, c. 1759, possibly Greatbatch, lobed form with reeded spout and handle, molded rococo panels depicting landscapes with house centering grazing sheep and cows, recumbent lamb finial, ht. 4 3/8 in.


Literature: Illustrated in "The Illustrated Guide to Staffordshire Salt-glazed Stoneware" by A. Mountford, plate 210.

Condition report



Condition: Cover: hairline running most way across top; collar with sizable repairs.
Pot: chips to end of spout restored; inner rim with two sizable chips, 3/8, 5/8".
