Infant Pan Initialed "DB" twice, l.r. and l.l., later inscriptions in lower margin on backing mat. Ink and wash on paper, 12 1/2 x 9 in. (31.8 x 22.9 cm), framed. Condition: Adhered to supporting mat at edges, toning/mat burn, creases. Litterature: "Lady Di's Scrapbook" from The Connoisseur, An Illustrated Magazine for Collectors, vol. vii (September-December, 1903), p. 35, (illus. no/ IV). N.B. The lot is accompanied by a hand colored engraving of Lady Diana Beauclerk after Sir Joshua Reynolds (British, 1723-1792).
