Staffordshire Solid Agate Milk Jug and Cover, England, c. 1760, pear shape with clays in browns, buff and a dark gray/green, ht. 6 in.

Condition: Finial cleanly broken off and available.Cover: missing piece that would extend over spout; 1" chip to collar; 1 1/2" hairline.
Pot: very slight rim chip; spout off along seam and simply reglued; a few small hairlines to the body.
