Meiji period, Beautiful black laquer 5-box inro with decorated ojime and ivory netsuke. This married set is signed Kaji Kawa and dates from around 1870. The koro shaped seal accompanies the signature. This piece is in excellent condition with a lovely patina. No flaws to mention. Excquisite detail depicting a snake and a rooster. Size- 2.25" x 4.25".
